1. Application

These Terms of Use set out the conditions for using the image-processing features and other services provided by ImgTools (referred to below as “this site”). By using this site, users agree to these Terms.

2. Services

This site provides image-processing features including resizing, cropping, rotating and flipping, upscaling, image adjustment and enhancement, background removal, text and watermark placement, image layout, blur and mosaic effects, AI face blur, conversion to JPG, WebP, AVIF, and PNG, image compression, metadata removal, and favicon generation. Some conversion and enhancement tools also support HEIC / HEIF input. Service contents, specifications, usage limits, and other conditions may change without prior notice.

3. User Responsibilities

Users must confirm that they have the necessary rights or permission to use any images or other data entered into or uploaded to this site. The service may not be used in a way that infringes third-party copyrights, publicity or portrait rights, privacy rights, or other rights.

4. Prohibited Conduct

• Conduct that violates laws, regulations, or public order and morals
• Conduct that infringes the rights or interests of third parties
• Conduct that places an excessive load on this site or its servers
• Unauthorized access, vulnerability probing, interference, or other conduct that harms security
• Large-scale automated processing or other activity that substantially exceeds ordinary use
• Other conduct considered inappropriate for the operation of this site

5. AI Background Removal

Background removal includes AI-based estimation, so results may differ from expectations depending on the subject and background. Fine hair, semi-transparent areas, complex backgrounds, text, decorations, and similar details may not be processed accurately.

6. AI Upscaling and AI Face Blur

AI upscaling includes processes that estimate and generate details from the source image, so text, facial details, patterns, and other elements may appear different from the original. Face detection used by AI Face Blur is also not perfect and may fail to detect faces or may detect non-face areas. Users should review the processing results themselves.

Processing speed and availability vary depending on the device’s GPU and CPU performance, browser, image size, and the loading status of external libraries and models.

7. Automatic Adjustment and Enhancement

Automatic adjustment and image enhancement apply corrections based on the condition of the image, but improved quality is not guaranteed for every image. Strong adjustments may make colors, edges, details, and other elements appear different from the original.

8. Changes or Suspension of the Service

All or part of this site may be changed or suspended temporarily or on an ongoing basis due to maintenance, failures, security measures, system load, circumstances affecting external libraries or model providers, or other reasons.

9. Disclaimer

This site does not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of processing results, fitness for a particular purpose, uninterrupted availability, or similar matters. Users should back up important images before use and review the processing results themselves.

Except where liability is required by applicable law, this site is not liable for damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, this site.

11. Changes to These Terms

These Terms may be changed as necessary. Revised Terms become effective when posted on this site.

12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Any dispute relating to this site shall be subject to the exclusive agreed jurisdiction, in the first instance, of the Japanese court having jurisdiction over the location of the site operator.
